Join us once again for the annual Ship Creek Fall Cleanup! Help preserve the cleanliness and beauty of Ship Creek, as we wrap up the 2024 salmon season.

Volunteers include members of the Ship Creek fishing community and other local organizations. We welcome all volunteers to come out. Please meet at the Shack at 212 West Whitney Road at 11:00 a.m.

What to bring:
Please dress in layers and dress warm – the temperature is often cooler along the creek
Bring rubber boots or waders.
Wear gloves, such as latex or nitrile gloves
Wear an orange safety vest if cleaning roadways or intersections near the creek.

The Ship Creek Fall Cleanup is part of The Bait Shack Community Events, a series of community fishing events in Anchorage.

This will be the second of two Ship Creek Cleanup events for the 2024 fishing season; the first cleanup event is held in the spring.
